What a joy it was to capture this sweet family reunion! I had the honor of capturing family photos for the L family at the WRAL Azalea Gardens during Memorial Day Weekend. We started off with a fun group photo of everyone, and then captured a variety of groupings. I always love the ones with grandparents and the grandkids! :) I also enjoyed seeing how much the kids loved the flowers (especially the hydrangeas!). It truly is so special to be able to capture this sweet time with the whole family in one place. If you have any upcoming family reunions, let me know! It was such an honor to capture graduation photos for Camille recently, as she finished getting her MD from Duke University! One of the things I loved about her session was how she incorporated an adorable stuffed bear, who was wearing scrubs as well as badges. It was wearing a collection of badges from her dad and her own! Her dad is a surgeon and she also plans to go into the same field. It was an honor to capture graduation photos for this wonderful family during commencement week at Duke University! Their oldest son was graduating from Duke, and it was such a special season of life for them to commemorate this time. We started off the session capturing photos on Chapel Drive, and I wanted to incorporate the Duke Centennial banners in the shot since it was special year. I thought it was also cool that all the undergraduates graduation gowns were blue this year (instead of the usual black) to celebrate Duke’s centennial! We also documented some photos by Duke Chapel, and ended the session with some fun celebratory photos back on Chapel Drive.
