I had SO much fun working with the K family again and watching their beautiful family grow! I’ve worked with them over the past couple of years, and they are truly one of the most cheerful families and good-humored families I know! :) They welcomed a sweet baby girl a few weeks ago, and Baby N was absolutely precious. She was sleeping so peacefully when I arrived, that I decided to capture solo portraits of her first. When I began shooting, she did a big yawn for the camera! The moment was absolutely perfect and adorable. I also loved capturing the “in-between” moments like their older daughter coloring, and their dog smiling for the camera! Towards the end of the shoot, we managed to get a photo of the whole family together, and the moment was beautiful. See more wonderful photos from this fun lifestyle session below!

The last shoot I had for 2022 was with the sweet M family! They welcomed a beautiful baby girl in December, and it was SO fun and precious to see how her older two brothers interacted with her during the session. They shared their dinosaurs and toys with her, talked about breakfast, and had a chance to hold her! :) I also loved incorporating the quilts into the shoot for the solo shots of Baby D as well as the quilt in the nursery, which were all made by mom. Say hello to Baby B! I had the honor of working with this sweet family again, and it truly was a joy to meet the newest member of their family! :) We started off the newborn shoot with some beautiful lifestyle photos of dad and baby, and then some candid photos of the family with their festive Christmas decor. As a side note, I love capturing the surroundings during the holidays; it adds meaning to your photos and helps you remember this special moment in time!

We also had a chance to capture a lot of sweet and tender moments in their sunroom (the light was SO beautiful), and also had a ton of fun reading together in their daughter’s room. As we were winding down the session, Baby B had a quick snack and was falling asleep. He looked so sweet and peaceful, and I knew I had to capture another solo shot of him! I saw the shaggy cream rug in the room and thought he would look adorable sleeping on it…and sure enough, it is one of my favorite photos from the shoot! :) See more precious moments from this session by scrolling down!
