What makes you different than other photographers?

I know there are many photographers to choose from. The most frequent compliment I get from clients is my attention to detail. If your jacket is crooked or you have a stray hair covering your face, I will let you know so you look your BEST in photos! Also, if a pose looks awkward or stiff, I’ll adjust you so your photos look natural.

In addition, my editing is different than most. Colors are vibrant, and skin tone looks real and true to life. Tones are not washed out or muddy. I also do NOT outsource my editing. I personally edit, retouch, and review each photo before delivering to ensure it meets my standard of excellence.

Most importantly, I have the technical skills and experience to deliver high-quality images (you can read more about my background here). No matter the situation, I can deliver photos that you will love and cherish for a lifetime!

Where do sessions take place?

Newborn lifestyle sessions take place in the comfort of your home. All other sessions (e.g., maternity, family, senior, etc.) take place at a location of your choice. Whether you want to do a lifestyle session at home or outdoors at a park, we can determine the best place to capture your vision!

How far do you book out? When should I schedule a session?

Depending on the season, I typically book out 1-2 months in advance for family and portrait sessions. Spring and fall are peak seasons and book out the fastest. I recommend scheduling as soon as possible—the earlier you schedule, the more dates you have to choose from!

For maternity or newborn sessions, I suggest booking when you’re in your second trimester. If you’ve already delivered, no worries! Feel free to still send me an inquiry and I will do my best to accommodate last-minute requests.

What is your rescheduling policy?

Working with families, I understand life happens! In the event you need to reschedule, one complimentary reschedule is allowed provided you give me a 24-hour notice (if you request to reschedule less than 24 hours prior to the session, a $100 late rescheduling fee will be incurred).

If weather conditions prevent the session from occurring, we’ll reschedule at no cost and weather-related rescheduling decisions will be at my discretion.

What safety precautions are you taking given the COVID-19 situation?

Given the COVID-19 pandemic, please note that I am committed to your safety and have been following the precautions recommended by the CDC and our local government. I'm fully vaccinated and boosted, and currently wear a mask upon request. Feel free to contact me if you’d like additional details on how I’m handling safety!

Do you offer services outside of the greater Triangle area?

Yes! I travel and provide services outside of the Raleigh-Durham area. I have provided services in Charlotte, Greensboro, Hillsborough, Bahama, Wake Forest, Lake Gaston, and more. Please inquire and I can provide you with a quote.

Do you capture proposals, events, headshots, branding, etc.?

Yes, please don't hesitate to contact me if you have a special request! I have experience working on a variety of projects ranging from headshots, branding, proposals, reunions, and birthdays, to capturing photos for an adoption profile book. If something matters to you, I'd be honored to help you!

Do you offer gift certificates?
