I had the honor of working with this Duke graduate this spring, and I had such a wonderful time capturing his photos! We documented his senior photos at the beautiful Duke Gardens, and then captured photos on Chapel Drive and around Duke Chapel. He had some epic jumping photos (they are always a favorite of mine!), and I also loved that he wore an awesome Duke tie with his suit! I had such a blast working with this group of graduates from Duke University this spring! These seniors were the class that started college in the fall of 2020, during the beginning of COVID. It’s crazy to think about starting college during a pandemic, but they made it through!

One of the things I loved about this group was their connection and friendship with one another. They were so energetic and funny, and I wanted to capture their special dynamic with each other! We started off the session by photographing some nice group portraits and individual shots by Duke Chapel. We then ended the session on Chapel Drive and documented some fun moments of them celebrating! The last photo was my favorite, which was an AMAZING jumping photo. I had a wonderful time working with Silvie! She was graduating from Duke University in their Nurse Practitioner (NP) masters program, and it truly was an honor to capture this special achievement for Silvie. The weather was a bit chilly, but fortunately the sun was out to help warm us up! We captured a couple of photos by the famous arches by Duke Chapel, and also took some gorgeous portraits nearby. One of the things I LOVED about the shoot was Silvie’s beautiful, colorful stole! I love it when students incorporate a part of their story and heritage into the session :) Congrats again, Silvie!
