A Sweet Family of Four | Hillsborough Newborn Photographer

I had the wonderful honor of working with the Prenshaw family again, and this sweet family welcomed a beautiful baby girl last month! :) This family was full of excitement and joy, and I had SO much fun documenting their love for one another. I especially love seeing how big sister J was curious and sweet towards her little sister! One of my favorite moments was seeing J hugging Baby L—it truly was a priceless moment and a photo they’ll cherish for years to come! I also LOVED incorporating their family bookcase from their office into the photos. It was truly a perfect backdrop to showcase who they are as a family :) Enjoy scrolling through some of my favorite highlights from this precious newborn shoot! Congrats again to the Prenshaw family!

A Relaxing Newborn Session at Home | Durham Newborn Photographer

Get ready for some ADORABLE baby photos! :) I had the honor of working with Matt, Allison, and Baby M a few weeks ago to capture this special season of life! We started off the shoot in their living room, and the light was absolutely beautiful. There were so many sweet and tender moments from the shoot, and I LOVED how they called their daughter, “cutie,” the whole time (and she certainly was a cutie!). There were also some funny moments, and one of my favorites was towards the end of the shoot. We changed Baby M into a cozy fleece outfit, and her foot suddenly poked out right between the buttons!! She wiggled for a bit more, but then fell right back asleep. Capturing the impromptu moments like this are truly worth everything! Congrats again, Matt and Allison, and welcome to the world, Baby M!

A Gorgeous Winter Maternity Session | Raleigh Maternity Photographer

I had the wonderful honor of capturing maternity photos for Sydney and Nick a few weeks ago! It was such a gorgeous winter maternity session, and the joy and excitement for Baby K was so evident! :) I remember they wanted to have an open field look, and the NC Museum of Art in Raleigh was the perfect location! The NCMA has so many pretty backdrops and fields, and it’s spacious enough to be socially distant with other visitors in the park!

One of my favorite spots in the park is the area by the giant rings (as seen in the first photo!). I absolutely LOVE the way you can creatively frame your subjects, and also love the vibrant orange color against the blue sky. We also captured a lot of photos by the open fields, and the deep connection between Sydney and Nick was incredible! It truly is humbling to be part of documenting such a special season of life, and I can’t wait to meet Baby K! See more of my favorite photos below and stay tuned for their newborn session!
