I had the pleasure and honor of working with Laura and Brian again and capturing some gorgeous maternity photos for them! As most of you know, the weather in NC is very unpredictable and the forecast kept showing that it would be cold and rainy the day of our shoot. Well, the weather ended up being sunny, warm, and windy for our January shoot!

With the gorgeous golden hour light, we captured a lot of fun and beautiful moments during the shoot. There were times when the wind would blow Laura’s hat off, but those made some fun candid shots! I also LOVED the photos we captured in the open field and by the three rings. Laura also brought some adorable wooden blocks of her daughter’s name (Baby River!) as well as some cute suede booties! Home is truly where the heart is! I had the honor of working with Lindsey and Alan, and one of the things she mentioned to me during our consultation was wanting to do a lifestyle maternity session at home. They love spending time at home and were hoping to capture some quiet, intimate, and joyful moments of their family together since Alan travels for work (he’s a pilot for the Navy!). It was truly a joy to work with them and I loved how their cats also made an appearance for the shoot! :) I can’t wait for Baby C to arrive and join the family!
