I recently had the honor of photographing this gorgeous elopement ceremony for Mackenzie and Will at Drake’s Landing. They are truly some of the most polite and kind couples I’ve met, and I absolutely LOVED seeing how much they smiled the whole time! :) I also thought it was so sweet that they did a feet washing during the ceremony. It was such a beautiful way to show their desire to love and serve one another! After the ceremony, we had a delightful cake cutting and also captured some beautiful portraits of the bride and groom! Congrats again, Mackenzie and Will! God bless your marriage, and may you have a lifetime of joy and happiness!

What a joy it was to capture this sweet family reunion! I had the honor of capturing family photos for the L family at the WRAL Azalea Gardens during Memorial Day Weekend. We started off with a fun group photo of everyone, and then captured a variety of groupings. I always love the ones with grandparents and the grandkids! :) I also enjoyed seeing how much the kids loved the flowers (especially the hydrangeas!). It was such an honor to capture graduation photos for Camille recently, as she finished getting her MD from Duke University! One of the things I loved about her session was how she incorporated an adorable stuffed bear, who was wearing scrubs as well as badges. It was wearing a collection of badges from her dad and her own! Her dad is a surgeon and she also plans to go into the same field.
