I had the best time photographing engagement photos for Orlando and Jesse a few weeks ago! I was so excited when they told me they wanted to do an engagement session at their home, and capture some fun and authentic photos of them doing some of their favorite things! I remember they told me that they love to laugh together and enjoy food, art, and music. Thus, we incorporated some of their favorite things into the shoot to personalize their photography experience! We started off with them reading books in their bedroom, and then we captured some candid photos of them in their living room with their record player. We also had fun capturing some photos of them eating and drinking champagne, as well as taking a couple of beautiful portraits outside! The entire shoot was so fun from beginning to end, and documenting their love and connection was so special. Congrats again, Orlando and Jesse!

I had such an INCREDIBLE time photographing Laura, Brian, and their pup (Bodhi) a few weeks ago! It was an extra special shoot because they are expecting a BABY GIRL and we captured some beautiful baby announcement and family photos at the American Tobacco Campus in Durham! There seriously were so many amazing moments, and I still can’t get over how cute the pink adore-a-bull onsie was! Their energetic and cheerful pup, Bodhi, was also SO photogenic in front of the camera. After a year and a half of waiting, Cassandra and Blake were able to finally celebrate their special day with their friends and family! :) Some of you may remember they held a very small, intimate wedding ceremony last year on their original wedding date (see blog here) and decided to postpone their larger gathering to 2021.

It truly was such a JOY and honor to document their larger gathering this year! All the details were so beautiful, and I especially loved seeing the excitement on everyone’s faces. Two Roosters were also there and served ice cream during the reception! It was such a fun and sweet treat! :) See more beautiful highlights from this wonderful day below!
