I had the honor of working with the R family during the holidays! We had a wonderful time capturing family photos at The Carolina Inn in Chapel Hill, and the venue was filled with beautiful Christmas decorations. It was also a special session because they are expecting their second child in 2025, and they wanted to preserve some memories of this current stage of life before baby #2 arrives! We captured some gorgeous family photos in one of the hallways in the lobby, and natural light was stunning. Not only was the light amazing, their son and dog, Chief, were SO adorable and sweet! :) We also had a chance to capture photos outdoors, and then ended the session indoors by the Christmas tree. What a joy it was to work with the N family again this holiday season! We had a blast capturing their family photos at the American Tobacco Campus in Durham. Their daughter was such a ham and had just as much energy as our session last year! One of the cutest expressions she had was sticking her tongue out (which I learned was her signature look!), and she also LOVED swinging while holding her parents’ hands! It was wonderful to work with the E family again! We captured some beautiful family photos at Forest Hills Park in Durham. Although the weather was very chilly that day, they energy and enthusiasm warmed us all up! :) One of my favorite moments was when all the kids were sitting on the blanket. Dad and mom were behind me doing something silly, and their laughter and smiles were SO adorable! I also loved capturing them tickling one another and walking together in the field.
