I had the honor of working with the R family during the holidays! We had a wonderful time capturing family photos at The Carolina Inn in Chapel Hill, and the venue was filled with beautiful Christmas decorations. It was also a special session because they are expecting their second child in 2025, and they wanted to preserve some memories of this current stage of life before baby #2 arrives! We captured some gorgeous family photos in one of the hallways in the lobby, and natural light was stunning. Not only was the light amazing, their son and dog, Chief, were SO adorable and sweet! :) We also had a chance to capture photos outdoors, and then ended the session indoors by the Christmas tree. What a joy it was to work with the N family again this holiday season! We had a blast capturing their family photos at the American Tobacco Campus in Durham. Their daughter was such a ham and had just as much energy as our session last year! One of the cutest expressions she had was sticking her tongue out (which I learned was her signature look!), and she also LOVED swinging while holding her parents’ hands! I had a blast working with the C family recently! They were such a sweet and easy-going family, and we captured their photos at the beautiful American Tobacco Campus in the morning. One of my favorite parts of the shoot was capturing their daughter sticking her tongue out—they told me that’s one of her favorite things to do, and it was so adorable every time she did it!
