I had a delightful time capturing this cozy newborn lifestyle session in Durham! When I arrived to the shoot, Baby K was drinking milk and I thought it was such an adorable moment! He made the cutest little faces and truly had the best expressions :) I also loved how we incorporated the family’s sweet and friendly dog, Halloumi. She was a beautiful and loyal dog, and I loved how she wanted to play with us (see photo below with her stuffed chicken toy, lol!). I also adored the amazing underwater nursery theme, as well as the awesome Pokemon characters in Baby K’s crib. As we ended the shoot, we captured a fun UNC themed photo with Baby K in some UNC sweats! :) See more of my favorite highlights and precious moments by scrolling down!

It was a joy to work with the G family again, and capture Baby C’s 9-month milestone photos! We decided to capture photos at Apex Nature Park in the morning, and it was a gorgeous and sunny day. I LOVED capturing Baby C’s smiles and laughter, and also capturing the joy on everyone’s faces! During the shoot, I remember we were laughing how different she and her older sister were at this age. Baby C would constantly be picking things up and putting it in her mouth, whereas her older sister would be constantly on the move, trying to stand up and wobble forward! :) It’s always so fun and amusing to see how each child has a different personality. I had so much fun working with the S family as they welcomed a beautiful baby girl last month! Baby M was asleep for a good portion of the session, and was absolutely delightful. One of my favorite parts of the shoot was including their sweet goldendoodle for some photos! :) He was so sweet and affectionate towards their baby girl, and gave some adorable expressions.
