I had the honor of photographing summer maternity photos for Meiji and Frank at the NCMA a few weeks ago! As most of you know, the summers here in North Carolina can get hot and humid, and I usually suggest doing a morning session if possible with families. Thankfully, we did a morning shoot because that day was definitely warm! Meiji and Frank were still amazing in front of the camera and had the sweetest interactions with one another. Their excitement and joy for their baby were so evident! Enjoy the beautiful highlights below, and I can’t wait for their little one to arrive soon! :)

Spring is one of the most beautiful times of the year to do photos! I had the honor of photographing maternity photos for my friends, Claire and James, and we captured some gorgeous photos at the NCMA in Raleigh. I remember it was forecasted to rain that day, but thankfully it stopped by the time it was our shoot! They were so relaxed during the shoot, and we captured some beautiful photos by the open field. I had such a great time capturing maternity photos for Lauren and Noah a few weeks ago at the NCMA! I remember when we first spoke during our consultation, they wanted to capture a story that highlighted them as a family in this season of life. We focused on a lot of candid and relaxed shots of both of them, and I absolutely loved how easy they laughed with one another! :) During this session we also had an outfit change; we did one outfit that was a bit more casual and another that was a little more dressy. Lauren looked absolutely stunning in both outfits! Congrats again, Lauren and Noah, on your growing family!
