I had a delightful time photographing the Garrison family a few weeks ago at North Cary Park! There were so many wonderful moments with this family, and they truly had some of the sweetest smiles! I also loved capturing the bond between the two sisters, and seeing how kind they were towards each other! The oldest daughter also LOVED flowers, and it was so precious capturing the joy on her face when she was picking flowers! :) See some of my favorite highlights below from this beautiful summer session!

This 9-month milestone shoot was SO fun from beginning to end! I had the honor of working with the Greiner family again, and their sweet baby girl was such a delight to photograph! We started off playing in her room, and she was obsessed with her unicorn, balls, and hearing her dad play guitar. One thing that made her laugh really hard, was hearing her parents’ snap their fingers! The joy and delight on her face was SO adorable! :) I also captured some candid photos of them playing with the Christmas tree, playing peek-a-boo, and eating some snacks! We then did the rest of the shoot outside and the sunset was BEAUTIFUL. The light was so warm and pretty, and truly highlighted the joy of being a family! I had the honor of capturing photos for the Moriarty family in the fall, and it was truly a JOY documenting their growing family! They were such a down-to-earth family, and we had a relaxing time playing, eating, and laughing! This session was geared more towards a lifestyle, photojournalism approach. Images were mostly unposed and candid, and my goal was to document real, genuine moments. Personally, I find the lifestyle/documentary approach to be very enjoyable especially if you have children ages 0-3 years old. Kids are wiggly and move a LOT, and these type of shoots tend to be way more fun for them! All you have to do is relax, do an activity you love together (like playing or eating!), and just have FUN!
