I had a blast working with the W family recently, and we captured their family photos at the beautiful Umstead Park in Raleigh. They were such a sweet and relaxing family, and I LOVED how fascinated their daughter was with rocks! She collected a ton of rocks during our session and wouldn’t put them down :) I also loved how mom and dad were both so funny, silly, and creative when it came to making their little girl laugh—they did their own version of “Baby Shark” and replaced the words with “chunky monkey.” It was the cutest thing! I had the honor of working with the M family this fall, and boy, we had a TON of laughs and there were so many priceless moments! We captured their family photos at the beautiful Umstead Park in Raleigh, and it truly is the best place if you love nature and want a forest-feel to your photos. They were all AMAZING in front of the camera, and their kiddos made me laugh countless times :) Their oldest son was SO entertaining and just pure SILLY, and did little “magic tricks” throughout the shoot. He had us guessing which hand had the rock, and it was so funny! Their youngest also had a ton of energy, and it was fun seeing them all play with sticks, leaves, and tossing leaves in the air. I had the BEST time capturing maternity photos for this sweet and fun couple! E and S love the outdoors and wanted to take photos in a natural scenery, and Umstead Park was the perfect location. We laughed SO much during the shoot, and I loved how natural and down-to-earth they were in front of the camera! I remember E told me they wanted to capture some of their goofiness together, and I truly enjoyed seeing how they could make each other laugh :) I also loved how they incorporated their personalities into the shoot with their Chacos sandals, Adidas sneakers, and outfit changes! There were seriously SO many amazing moments, and I included some of my favorites below. Can’t wait for their sweet baby to arrive!
