I had such a wonderful time photographing the Lawrence family recently! We captured some fun, candid photos at Umstead Park in Raleigh, and the kids loved it :) It was so sweet to photograph the twins interacting with their parents, and the kiddos were SO active and excited during the shoot! One of my favorite parts of the shoot was capturing them blowing bubbles (which is their favorite activity to do!) and documenting them jumping when we were capturing family portraits at the end of the shoot. Y’all, the world is truly a small place! As most of you know, I am originally from Seattle, Washington. Specifically, I grew up in Issaquah, which is about 20-30 minutes east of Seattle proper. A few months ago, I received an inquiry from a familiar name…and it was from one of my old high school friends, Mandy! She moved to Durham right before the pandemic started, and then had her sweet baby boy at the beginning of the pandemic. Like many people, it was a difficult year to get pictures and to get together with family. Now that vaccines have rolled out, the grandparents from both sides were able to visit and celebrate their grandson’s first birthday! It was truly a special occasion and I had a ton of fun capturing all the joy and love from this sweet celebration! I had such an incredible and FUN time capturing newborn photos with this sweet family in Holly Springs! There was seriously so much laughter and energy during this shoot, and it was so fun incorporating Baby Evelyn’s big brother and two basenjis towards the last part of the session :) One of the most memorable things about this shoot was truly how upbeat this family was even when they are surviving on little sleep! Their joy and love for the newest member of their family was so evident, and I was so honored to be able to capture this precious moment for them. Congrats again on your growing family, Tiffany and Joe!
