I had such a fun time capturing maternity photos for Amy and Sam! It truly was a pleasure working with them and I can’t believe how much we laughed together during their shoot :) They were so natural and relaxed in front of the camera, and seriously breezed through all the poses I gave them! I learned that Sam is a big Chicago Cubs fan, and they brought the CUTEST Cubs onsies to include in their maternity session. I also loved the photos we took by the beautiful brick wall and window! Sam was originally leaning against the wall and I loved how relaxed he looked, so I had Amy do the same pose. The result was AWESOME! I had the honor of working with Amanda and Taylor for their maternity session recently, and they were such a JOY to work with! I loved the way they would laugh and interact with one another, and I absolutely LOVED having their energetic maltipoo with us on the shoot. We lucked out that day with beautiful and pleasant weather, and the warm sunset glow made the backdrop even more stunning. My favorite part was when we got up on top of the hill, the lighting was SO pretty and truly illuminated their love, joy, and excitement for their little one! Also, I absolutely adored Amanda’s vibrant and flowy dress! I had the pleasure and honor of working with Laura and Brian again and capturing some gorgeous maternity photos for them! As most of you know, the weather in NC is very unpredictable and the forecast kept showing that it would be cold and rainy the day of our shoot. Well, the weather ended up being sunny, warm, and windy for our January shoot!

With the gorgeous golden hour light, we captured a lot of fun and beautiful moments during the shoot. There were times when the wind would blow Laura’s hat off, but those made some fun candid shots! I also LOVED the photos we captured in the open field and by the three rings. Laura also brought some adorable wooden blocks of her daughter’s name (Baby River!) as well as some cute suede booties!
