I had the honor of photographing baby Emmaline again, and this time it was for her 6-month milestone session! :) One of the things I love about this milestone is the curiosity babies have for EVERYTHING as well as their desire to chew, chew, chew! Emmaline loved chewing on her Sophie giraffe teether as you can see in the photos below. She also loved doing tummy time, which is a developmental milestone I love to capture! Documenting every stage of your baby’s development is something you’ll cherish forever. Babies grow SO fast, and these are moments you’ll love to remember. Enjoy seeing some precious moments below!

One of my favorite parts of being a family photographer is capturing photos for returning families! I’ve had the honor of working with the Daniels family for the past few years, and we recently did a beautiful 2-year milestone shoot at Coker Arboretum! It was Hudson’s actual birthday the day of our shoot, and if y’all remember, we did a photoshoot exactly one year ago on his birthday, too! :) We had so much fun running around the park, and it was adorable to see him showing off his truck and exploring nature with his parents. Y’all, the world is truly a small place! As most of you know, I am originally from Seattle, Washington. Specifically, I grew up in Issaquah, which is about 20-30 minutes east of Seattle proper. A few months ago, I received an inquiry from a familiar name…and it was from one of my old high school friends, Mandy! She moved to Durham right before the pandemic started, and then had her sweet baby boy at the beginning of the pandemic. Like many people, it was a difficult year to get pictures and to get together with family. Now that vaccines have rolled out, the grandparents from both sides were able to visit and celebrate their grandson’s first birthday! It was truly a special occasion and I had a ton of fun capturing all the joy and love from this sweet celebration! My favorite part was seeing how HAPPY baby A was whenever he got a Cheerio! :) Scroll down to see more beautiful, candid family photos!
