A Sweet Family Session at Forest Hills Park | Durham Family Photographer

It was an honor to capture photos for the S family at Forest Hills Park in Durham! They are truly a sweet and kind family, and have wonderful energy! The kids were so cheerful and smiley, and I absolutely loved how affectionate their youngest child was :) Toward the end of the shoot, I enjoyed capturing candid photos of the kids having fun on the playground! It was so sweet when their oldest child asked me if I could take photos of him on the monkey bars, and wanted to show me the skills he learned from his ninja class. As a side note, I’ve had SO many kids this year wanting to show me their ninja skills—from somersaulting, climbing, kicking, and jumping—it has definitely been amazing to see! Take a look at some awesome and beautiful family photos from this wonderful shoot below!

A Gorgeous Family Session at Duke Gardens | Durham Family Photographer

What a JOY it was to work with the S family again! It was such a special time because their family is growing and they are expecting baby #2 soon! :) We captured their family photos at Duke Gardens this year, and it was truly a BEAUTIFUL place. We reserved time during the golden hour and the light was SO lovely, and every moment we documented felt magical! One of my favorite parts of the shoot was seeing how happy he was when he was holding onto his parents’ hands and swinging—he had the BIGGEST smile! I also loved capturing the in-between moments when we would do a quick snack break. They brought Pirate’s Booty Popcorn, and that is one of MY favorite snacks! :) See more sweet and beautiful moments from this delightful fall session below!

A Gorgeous Sunset Fall Session at NCMA | Raleigh Family Photography

It truly was a JOY to photograph Jo and her sweet boy this fall at the beautiful NC Museum of Art! We were so lucky with the timing of our shoot (we took these photos in mid-October) because I found out the museum planted sunflowers earlier that week in the fields! It was such a delight to be able to capture some fun and sweet moments among the gorgeous flowers and the open fields at the park. Not only that, the sunset was stunning and created the most breathtaking light! Most of all, I truly enjoyed capturing their sweet love and connection with each other, mother and son. We ended the shoot with the magnificent, giant rings, and it was truly a beautiful and perfect way to finish the shoot! See more incredible and lovely photos below!
