50 years of marriage is truly a remarkable milestone! I had the honor of capturing family photos for the W family recently in celebration of their 50th wedding anniversary. We captured photos at the beautiful Wild Dunes Resort, which is located near Charleston, SC. Even through the heat, humidity, and sweat, they were AMAZING and such a joyful family! We started off with pictures of the whole group, then did a variety of family combinations and portraits of the beautiful couple. It was so beautiful to see their love still going strong, and to capture these precious memories! I also loved how many grandchildren they had—7 girls and 2 boys :) Enjoy seeing some of my favorite highlights below!

Every season of life is worth celebrating, and wedding anniversaries are definitely something to commemorate! I recently had the honor of capturing 10th wedding anniversary photos for my dear friends, Lauren and Ryan. It was such a JOY photographing this special milestone for them! We captured their photos at the gorgeous NC Museum of Art in Raleigh, and it was a beautiful summer evening. Lauren mentioned that she wanted to capture photos of their wedding rings, and it was so fun to capture some creative shots with the warm golden sunlight behind them. She also still had her tiara from her wedding as well as her red Virginia Tech heels, and it was SO awesome to incorporate them into the shots at the end! What a joy it was to capture this sweet family reunion! I had the honor of capturing family photos for the L family at the WRAL Azalea Gardens during Memorial Day Weekend. We started off with a fun group photo of everyone, and then captured a variety of groupings. I always love the ones with grandparents and the grandkids! :) I also enjoyed seeing how much the kids loved the flowers (especially the hydrangeas!).
