I had a lot of fun working with the T family this fall, and we captured their family photos at the iconic Duke Chapel! It was a lovely day, and I truly enjoyed capturing their enthusiasm and joy of being together as a family. One of my favorite parts of the shoot was when their son did a backflip while they were walking! It was so funny and unexpected! I learned he has been taking ninja classes (which I know are becoming more popular in our area!) and he had so much fun showing off his skills :) Enjoy seeing more wonderful moments and beautiful photos from this session below!

I had such a wonderful time working with Clarissa and Brandon again, and this time it was for their beautiful wedding in Charlotte, NC! They are truly a cheerful and easy-going couple, and I can’t tell you how many times they made me chuckle! :) One of my favorite parts of the wedding was capturing the bride and groom portraits, and I had so much fun documenting their silliness as well as their love for one another. Their big, fluffy, and sweet dog, Lucy, was also part of the wedding and she did the CUTEST head tilt when posing for the camera! They also had an epic dance party and I was especially blown away by the amazingly-choreographed mother-son dance! Most of all, the joy and love in the room were so evident. Congrats again, Clarissa and Brandon, and may you create many more beautiful memories together!

Capturing newborn photos of Baby L was truly a joy! It was especially meaningful and special to capture this season of life for my dear friends, Makayla and Conner, and watching them transition to parenthood. One of the things that stood out to me from the session was that their sweet baby boy had the most beautiful blue eyes and strawberry-blonde hair! I also loved capturing the in-between shots of them smiling and rocking Baby L to sleep with the baby shusher :) I’m all about documenting real life, and it was such an authentic moment!
