It truly was a JOY to photograph Jo and her sweet boy this fall at the beautiful NC Museum of Art! We were so lucky with the timing of our shoot (we took these photos in mid-October) because I found out the museum planted sunflowers earlier that week in the fields! It was such a delight to be able to capture some fun and sweet moments among the gorgeous flowers and the open fields at the park. Not only that, the sunset was stunning and created the most breathtaking light! Most of all, I truly enjoyed capturing their sweet love and connection with each other, mother and son. We ended the shoot with the magnificent, giant rings, and it was truly a beautiful and perfect way to finish the shoot! See more incredible and lovely photos below!

It was so wonderful to work with the H family again this fall! They are truly some of the warmest families I know, and their kids are SO friendly and cheerful :) We captured their family photos at the Historic Yates Mill Pond Park in Raleigh, and it was a beautiful spot for fall pictures! One of the cool aspects of the park is the historic mill (which you can see in the first few photos below!). I had a lovely time working with the D family again and capturing the newest member of their family, Baby C! It means the WORLD to me when families come back to me year after year, and to be able to document their growth as a family. We started off with some precious family photos of everyone together, and it was such a sweet, tender, and fun time! I especially LOVED capturing their older son’s expressions and reactions as he interacted with his baby brother—he had the best smiles and giggles! :) I also loved the Winnie-the-Pooh theme nursery for Baby C! There were so many sweet and tender moments, and they are truly one of the most thoughtful and kind families I know. Congrats again, Mitch and Kirah, on your beautiful growing family!
