I had the honor of working with the S family again, and we had a blast capturing fall photos at the NC Museum of Art! It was so special to see their daughter’s sweet personality blossom and grow. One of the most memorable parts of the shoot was seeing how much their daughter LOVED picking up rocks and acorns during the session! It was hilarious! I also loved how we captured them playing with bubbles towards the end of the shoot—the beautiful sunset behind them was stunning and added to the joy of the moment :) See more of my favorite photos below!

I had the honor of working with the G family shortly after their maternity session, as they welcomed their baby boy a few weeks early! When I arrived, I saw their dog sitting protectively around mom and baby, and it was the sweetest thing :) At one point, Wilbur the dog had his eyes closed and looked like he was sleeping (and yes, I got a photo of it!). It was funny because we joked that he might have been exhausted from watching the baby! There were so many other beautiful and tender moments from the session. See more of my favorite moments below! I had the honor of working with Akilah recently as we captured her graduation photos at Duke University! She completed her Masters of Nursing degree from Duke, and it truly was a JOY working with her. Akilah was incredibly warm and sweet, and was such a natural in front of the camera! We did photos by the famous Duke Chapel and captured the beautiful archways. We also captured some fun photos on Chapel Drive, and the golden hour light was stunning!
