Capturing photos at home is one of my favorite places to photograph! Not only is it familiar, comfortable, and relaxing for kids and parents, but incredibly meaningful. I had the honor of documenting fall portraits for the Ghia family, and we had SO much fun photographing around their beautiful home! It was also a very special session because we included their sweet grandmother, Nani, which is the term used to call the maternal grandmother in Hindi.

There were so many sweet and fun moments during the shoot. One of my favorite moments was when the youngest child was giving high-fives to everyone! Another was when I had the kids hug their grandmother, and the laughter and joy in the photo was priceless. My very favorite was at the end of our shoot when I had everyone holding hands and walking, and swinging the youngest child! His face was just pure JOY, and I loved how his siblings were cheering him on! :) See more highlights from this amazing family session below!

I had SUCH an awesome time photographing the Alexander family this fall! They were truly a joyful and warm family, and I absolutely loved how playful they were during the shoot! They played, “I’m gonna get you!” with their daughter and that was an activity she LOVED. Seriously, her smiles and laughter were so pure and genuine—just look at all the photos below! :) She also loved to explore nature, and her curiosity for discovering the world around her was so endearing and sweet. There is nothing more special and meaningful than capturing photos at home! I had the honor of working with the Miller family in the fall, and we had such an AWESOME time documenting some lifestyle photos of their sweet family! They have the CUTEST bernadoodle named, Roger, and he was 10 months old and 60 pounds at the time of the shoot. He was such a happy and big puppy! :) Even though he got neutered a few days prior to our shoot, he was still bounding in energy and enthusiasm. I captured some photos of them doing tricks with him (like shaking hands) and it was SO adorable! We also captured some GORGEOUS photos outside their house near the railroad, and the sunset was stunning. Scroll down to see more beautiful photos!
