I was excited to offer TWO fall minis event this year! The photos below were captured in the morning from my first event in early November, and was held at Umstead Park in Raleigh. I remember about 20-30 minutes before the minis started, it was RAINING!! Thankfully, the rain stopped about 10 minutes before the event began (phew!).

This location is truly perfect if you wanted to capture the vibrant fall colors! It was truly a JOY seeing returning families, and an honor working with new families. While this blog doesn’t show all the families due to privacy reasons, enjoy scrolling through some highlights from the event!

I had SO much fun capturing photos of this sweet family recently! We did their fall family photos at Bond Park, and I truly had a delightful time capturing their love and joy. It was also special to have the maternal grandmother join the session! We documented some beautiful photos by the trails along Bond Park, then walked towards the big field. We took a short snack break, and I LOVED the fun and yummy asian snacks they brought! Their daughter was SO kind and generous with sharing her snacks, too. We ended the shoot by playing tag, capturing a few more family photos, and photos of their daughter demonstrating her taekwondo skills! :) Scroll down to see more of my favorite moments from this beautiful family session!

I had the honor of working with the S family again, and we had a blast capturing fall photos at the NC Museum of Art! It was so special to see their daughter’s sweet personality blossom and grow. One of the most memorable parts of the shoot was seeing how much their daughter LOVED picking up rocks and acorns during the session! It was hilarious! I also loved how we captured them playing with bubbles towards the end of the shoot—the beautiful sunset behind them was stunning and added to the joy of the moment :) See more of my favorite photos below!
