It was such a joy and honor to capture newborn photos for this beautiful family in Chapel Hill! I especially loved Baby G’s cute onsie that said, “Sweet Little Blessing” because he surely was! :) During the session, we captured photos in the master bedroom and nursery and did a lot of snuggles and kisses. I absolutely enjoyed capturing everyone’s joy, and the simplicity and beauty of the moment! I had the incredible honor of working with the Geary family again, and we had a fun time capturing family photos at the NCMA! During the shoot, older sister A found a ladybug and was SO engrossed and fascinated by it, that I had to capture the moment! I also loved how she posed with her jellybeans, which was one of my favorite photos from their shoot :) Most of all, I LOVED the golden hour photos we captured of the whole family sitting on the grass and laughing! We also had a chance to capture some beautiful photos of just mom + dad at the end of the shoot (which I try to do at the end of every family session!). See more of my favorite moments below!

I had such a fun time capturing maternity photos for Amy and Sam! It truly was a pleasure working with them and I can’t believe how much we laughed together during their shoot :) They were so natural and relaxed in front of the camera, and seriously breezed through all the poses I gave them! I learned that Sam is a big Chicago Cubs fan, and they brought the CUTEST Cubs onsies to include in their maternity session. I also loved the photos we took by the beautiful brick wall and window! Sam was originally leaning against the wall and I loved how relaxed he looked, so I had Amy do the same pose. The result was AWESOME!
