Seeing returning clients is one of my favorite things about being a family photographer! I had the honor of working with the Alexander family again, and I was so excited to learn they will be welcoming baby #2 in the spring!! :) During their family session, their adorable toddler LOVED running and the joy on her face when she got to run was priceless. She was also one of the most joyful and happiest kids I’ve met! I am ALL about capturing movement and authentically documenting the reality of the moment. Whether your child is shy or outgoing, or cautious or daring, I think it’s important to capture who they are! These moments are fleeting and they grow up so fast. The Jocius family was such a joy to photograph! I had the honor of working with them this fall and they were so relaxed, charming, and FUN to photograph! We captured photos at Duke University around the beautiful Duke Chapel and pathways surrounding the area. The fall colors were absolutely GORGEOUS and the weather was surprisingly very pleasant that day—it wasn’t too hot or cold! One of the most memorable things from this shoot was capturing how close they were as a family. I loved the way they would joke around each other and how comfortable they were in front of the camera! I had the honor of photographing the Geary family again, and we had a wonderful time capturing family photos at Umstead Park! We scheduled a morning session, and the weather was absolutely gorgeous and sunny. I had a blast capturing all of their laughter and giggles, and they truly are one of the most cheerful families I know!
