I had a WONDERFUL time photographing the Huntley family again! We took photos at the scenic Joyner Park in Wake Forest, and the park was absolutely beautiful. It was such a joy catching up with them and capturing how big their kids have grown! There were seriously so many sweet and funny moments from the shoot. I loved it when their oldest son picked some flowers for his mom; he truly has such a big and tender heart! :) I also loved capturing their interactions with their youngest member of the family. I remember they were calling his name to come to them, and he ran so fast into his dad’s arms! It was the cutest thing ever! The best part of the shoot was truly seeing how joyful they were even in the middle of this pandemic. Having each other and the love of family is such a gift and blessing! I had a wonderful time taking photos for the Geary family again! We captured some beautiful porch portraits of the whole family (while maintaining good social distancing!), as well as some beautiful candid shots of them having fun together outside. They seriously have the most cheerful smiles, and seeing the joy and connection they have with one another is precious!

Even though we have all been staying home during this crazy time, capturing memories of your family in this season is so important. Kids are growing and changing every day, and they are only this little once! You may be concerned about safety, and I want to assure you that your safety is important to me, too. During the shoot, there will be no contact and I’ll be standing 6 feet away to maintain good social distancing. I had SO much fun taking family photos for the Driskill’s a couple of weeks ago. The Driskill family is one of the most relaxed and easygoing families I’ve ever met! Even though the forecast was saying that it was going to rain on our session date, that didn’t stop this family :) The day of our shoot was cloudy with some intermittent rain, but we were still able to capture some ADORABLE shots of the family and the children.

When the rain started to come down a little harder, we continued the shoot back to their home, which was thankfully nearby! It was funny because Audrey’s parents and family were having dinner when we got home, but they were so warm and welcoming to have us continue the shoot! We then captured some additional photos of the whole family around their beautiful home. From snuggling on the couch to playing with toys, the most memorable part for me was capturing how much the oldest son loved to jump on the couch (see photos below!). We then ended the shoot with a little dance party with his family and auntie!
