I had the honor of working with this family at the end of August, and we had a BLAST doing photos at the NCMA! The kiddos were seriously some of the happiest kids I’ve met, and there was a ton of laughter and exploring during our shoot! I remember Erin telling me she wanted to capture this season of life when the kids are still young so they have some memories they can hold onto when they get older. I thought that was so thoughtful and sweet because these moments are truly fleeting! During the shoot, it was endearing to see how much the children LOVED finding bugs and how excited they were when they heard a train. Towards the last half of the shoot, they enjoyed some POPSICLES and MACARONS! It was such a wonderful treat to enjoy (especially in the summer!) and they were all so happy :) Enjoy scrolling through some of my favorite moments below!

It was an honor to capture these sweet newborn photos for this beautiful family recently! I had a blast working with Kimmy, Dennis, and Baby E. One of my favorite parts of this shoot was doing photos in the nursery! The light was amazing and the woodland theme was adorable. I also loved that they had a lot of Canadian things (as the parents are both originally from Canada!) and also had a lot of engineering books (b/c both parents are engineers!). The little personalizations and details are truly what makes each newborn session unique and special. Enjoy seeing more of my favorite moments below!

Y’all, this shoot was AMAZING in every single way! Despite the crazy heat and humidity that day, this sweet family totally rocked it in front of the camera! It was also a bittersweet session because they will be moving soon, so this was a very special session to remember their time in Durham. Their son was seriously the HAPPIEST kid I’ve ever met! He was so smiley, silly, and cheerful, and you can’t help but smile, too! :) I also loved capturing their laughter and interactions with one another, and I especially loved the photos we captured towards the end. We documented a beautiful family photo with the water tower in the background, which is so iconic and totally Durham!
