I had the wonderful opportunity to work with the Mazzarelli family again, and it was such a JOY to capture newborn photos of Baby N! The last time I worked with them was for their gorgeous sunset maternity shoot at the NCMA, and I couldn’t wait to work with them again! We had a relaxing session at their charming home in Durham and documented some beautiful photos in the bedrooms and nursery. One of the memorable parts of this shoot was capturing portraits against their vibrant teal wall in the nursery! It was such a unique and colorful backdrop, and gave a nice punch to the photos! I had the honor of working with the Boros family again, and we captured some beautiful outdoor photos with extended family this year! We went to Umstead Park and it was such a wonderful place for all the kids to run and explore nature, and there truly was never a dull moment during the shoot :) The shoot started off with one of the kiddos missing his shoe (which we quickly found nearby!), and I often tell people that it’s the in-between moments like this that I believe are worth capturing! Besides these silly moments, we also captured some beautiful family portraits of the whole family, cousins, and more in the forest as well as the gorgeous lake. I had the pleasure and honor of working with the Miller family again, and this year they are expecting a little one on the way!! :) We had such a wonderful time capturing some fun candid moments with their energetic dog, Roger, as well as some gorgeous maternity shots of Jenny! I also LOVED the hat she wore in some of the photos. It truly is the little details and accessories that add the finishing touch to an outfit!
